It's Easier to Pull Teeth Than Get Paid From This Site

I joined SnapDollars.com October 5, 2006 and immediately started working on earning some money. By October 27, 2006 I had earned a whopping $37.56! At first I had close to $100 in those 3 short weeks, but items that were approved for payment mysteriously dropped off my account. I decided this wasn't the site for me so I requested payment Otober 27, 2006 so I could close my account. Finally, on December 11, 2006, my request was "approved" and I was supposedly paid. Today is December 22, 2006 and I still not have received payment. I can't imagine where it is, and since their customer support is practically non-existent I cannot get a reply from them. This is one place I would definitely stay away from. If anyone has had better luck with SnapDollars.com, please post a comment!

Get Paid to Try Sites

Get Paid to Sign up, Paid Surveys, Paid e-mails - Most beginners start here. These advertisements for the most part, are true. These are known as "get paid to try" websites. It's a quick, fun and easy way to make money online in a few weeks. In a month you can earn anywhere from $25 to a several hundred dollars, depending on how much time you want to put into it. Just make sure they are the "free to join" sites because there are a few out there that will charge you $34.95 just for a list of these sites that are free to sign up for anyway!

Many of these websites also pay to play games where you simply sign up, start playing mostly arcade-type games and get paid. Try InboxDollars or SendEarnings if you are interested in getting paid to play games.

Google AdWords

Google Adwords is a very simple, user friendly advertsing medium. It can be used for several different things, including driving traffic to your own website or blog, or if you are an affiliate, driving traffic to your merchants' website. You are charged per click on your ad and the ad will stop running once it has reached the maximum dollar amount you specify per day.

You can have your ad key word targeted or site targeted. You can set up specific URL's you would like your ad to appear on, and Google has a huge list of available websites for advertising your ads. These available websites are grouped by what type of websites they are, e.g., social networking, hobbies, employment, etc. If you use key words to target your ad, Google pretty much does all the work. All you have to do is enter one key word, and Google will come up with 100 more for you, using their key word tool. A word of caution, however, if you are advertising one of your merchants' links and it happens to be a paid survey site, the keywords survey or paid surveys or any variation thereof, is very expensive. These keywords go for $10.00 per click. When I use the keyword survey for my own website however, those keywords are about 15 cents per click. What I do when advertising for one of my merchants' paid survey websites is to site-target rather than key word target. It is a whole lot cheaper that way, and for five bucks a day I get about 100 clicks on my ad per day.

Amazon.com Associates Program

Become an Amazon.com Associate - Amazon.com has an amazing associate program. They give you your own storefront to use, a great way to promote products if you don't have a website. If you do have a website, you can choose individual products you wish to promote on your website, or you can integrate the storefront into your website, or link to it as a free-standing store. You can set the store up and edit it to give it the look and feel of your own website. Plus you've got the Amazon.com name more people trust.

Affiliate Programs

Affiliate Programs - This is a fun and easy way to generate some income by becoming an affiliate. You may need a website, newsletter or blog to promote and advertise merchants' products and/or services, and the merchant will supply you with text ads and banners for placement. You get paid commission whenever someone makes a purchase from a banner on your website. You can promote and sell just about anything on the web, from goods to services. The best way to do this is to focus on one product in particular that interests you. For example, if you really love photography, just focus on promoting cameras, photopaper, photo copiers, etc. rather than a bunch of different, unrelated items. This is called finding your niche. One of the top programs is Commission Junction. They have everything imaginable to promote, if you decide promoting is what you want to do. There is also LinkShare, MaxBounty and Perfect Paycheck.
